SPEECHES WEEK 2

This week room 11 have begun to write their introductions to their speeches. We have spent the week making sure our introductions include the following 4 attributes.

Attention Grabber: How are you going to greet your audience, grab their attention and compel them to listen?

Summary Statement: A one sentence summary of your speech topic and your point of view or angle.

  

Summative Overview: Brief outline of the main points to be covered in your speech.

Benefit: What's in your speech for your audience? Why will they want to hear what you've got to tell them? Be specific. Tell them.
