SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY CHALLENGE

Last Thursday during lunch time students from the year 4, 5 & 6 syndicates completed a BP Technology Challenge. 

The challenge involve keeping a ping pong ball off the ground for as long as possible. Using a limited amount of resources each group of four students had lots of fun creating designs to keep their ping pong ball off the ground for the longest amount of time.

The final designs decided on by each of the groups were a parachute and two hand gliders. The first hand glider had a time of 2 seconds, the second hand glider had a time of 2.9 seconds and the parachute design had a time of 2.10 seconds!
