HAND PRINTS

Room 11 have been exploring the impact of our carbon footprints. A carbon footprint tells us about our negative impact upon the environment. 

We have also been looking at Handprinter which is a website all about people's hand prints. A hand print is the the opposite to a carbon footprint in that it tells about positive changes we can make to the environment. The Handprinter website allows you to share ideas about looking after our planet with people around the world.

Some of the ideas that we came up with included using packaging made of recycled materials, keeping our environment clean by putting rubbish in the bin and planting new plants. We wrote our ideas instead the shape of our hands and then created one giant hand print.
