BRAIN WEEK

Brain week at Muritai School got off with a hiss and a roar today with a fascinating presentation by neuroscientist Pascal Saker. 

Building upon their knowledge of the different lobes of the brain, room 11 set about learning the important role that neurons play. After examining the various parts of a neuron and building a mad mad neuron we painted a large neuron mural on a classroom wall that also extended to our class windows.
