CENTRAL ZONE SWIM SPORTS

Yesterday Amy and I went to the Central Zone Swimming Competition. We both competed in two events, I swam in the year 5 girl's 100m freestyle and 25m breaststroke while Amy swam in the 50m freestyle and 25m backstroke. We both swam well and made it into the top 3 of our heats. I managed to make it into the finals and will now represent Muritai School at the Inter Zones. 

Last year 6 records were broken and this year 13 records were. The year 6 girl's 25m freestyle record was broken by Helena in room 13 who recorded a new record time! Overall we both think Muritai School did pretty well and that it was a great experience for everyone.
