Commonwealth Games Infographics

Last week room 15 were inquiring into the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. We completed a quiz about New Zealand's involvement in the Games and discussed questions about 'Why we celebrate the Games?' and 'Is it an important celebration?'

To deepen our understanding of the Commonwealth Games we created an inforgraphic based around the following questions:

• Why, and where the Commonwealth Games began
• How often the Commonwealth Games are held
• Who decides where the Games will be held
• Does the Commonwealth Games have an oath or a motto like the Olympic Games
• 2 interesting facts about the Glasgow Games
• Select a sport that will feature at the Glasgow Games and include some information about that sport
