JOURNEY JOURNAL

This week for writing room 15 wrote journey journals about what it would have been like in the 1800's to travel on a sailing ship across the world to New Zealand. 

First Mr. McMillan read and showed us William McCaw's account of migrating to New Zealand in the 1840's to give us an idea about what we could write.

We also looked at images of an artist's impression of life aboard a sailing ship traveling from England.
