·      Well done and thank you to all those who have donated items of clothing and shoes.  If you have any further donations please continue to put them in the box by the office.

BP Challenge

·      Congratulations to the Y5/6 Muritai School Team (Eden, Bennett, Andrew and Pablo) for doing an awesome job at the BP Challenge.  The team competed in two challenges.  They came 1st in the first ‘mystery’ challenge and 2^nd in the second ‘mystery’ challenge.

Regional Cross Country Championships

·      The event will be held at Rathkele College in Masterton on Tuesday.

PODIUM RESULTS: Charlotte Humphrys – 3^rd Year 5 Girls, Macey Caughley – 1^st Year 6 Girls, Maya Hahn – 2^nd Year 8 Girls.  All of the Muritai School students who competed (10 in total) did a great job.

Term 2 Celebration

·      To celebrate the achievements of the term we will be having an ‘End of term celebration’.  This involves the students choosing from the following activities: a movie, electronic gaming, board/card games and dance/music.  It will take place on Friday, after morning tea until lunchtime.  If the students want to bring anything for the celebration e.g. electronics, they need to have parental permission first.  Each class will also be having a shared lunch, their teacher will instruct the students as to what they should bring.
