Week 6 Wrap Up

Here's a snippet of some of the action that happened in room 11 in week 6.

On Wednesday we continued to develop our numeracy skills by playing two games. The first game we played was called 'Got It!' Yourself and your opponent take turns to add one number from 1 to 4 onto the total until the first person reaches 23.

Next we played 'Red Even' this activity involves positioning 4 red counters and 5 blue counters on a 3 X 3 grid so that all the rows, columns and diagonals have an even number of red counters.

During buddy time on Wednesday we created tissue paper fish we then raced these fish in the hall using only a book to propel them forward, this was lots of fun!

On Thursday morning room 11 attended a special performance called 'And the Winner is...'. The performance was a musical about two friends who share an exciting story with the audience however, their storytelling becomes disrupted when the story that they are telling diverges.
