EARTHQUAKE RAPS YO!

This week for inquiry and literacy room 11 have been exploring how earthquakes happen. We looked at the main stages of an earthquake and the various energy waves that an earthquake emits.  

We decided to share our new found knowledge by creating 'Earthquake Explanation Raps' using i-movie. First of all we watched a video that Mr. McKay had recommended called 'The Layers of the Earth Rap'. We then discussed what are the essential elements of a rap, these elements as well as how an earthquake formed the success criteria for our raps.
