GUIDED READING/NARRATIVE WRITING

Last week room 11 continued their exploration of narrative writing by answering some questions about about the plot contained within their guided reading journal.

As a class we answered the questions below using our class book 'Billionaire Boy' by David Walliams, then each guided reading group used their journal to examine the questions.

The questions included:  

~ What does the title tell you about the plot?

~ How has the writer grabbed your attention from the start?

~ What is the main problem? Is there more than one conflict?

~ Why did it happen?

~ Is the problem resolved by the end? Is the ending completely happy, or partly not?
