Science/Technology Challenge

On Wednesday Room 11 completed a science/technology challenge that involved everyone working together as a team to solve a problem. Each team had to build a device that could lift one tennis ball at a time across a 2 metre gap.

To build their devices each group was only provided with 12 sheets of newspaper, 4 metres of string, 3 cotton buds, 2 paper clips, 4 drinking straws, and 2 metres of sellotape. There were lots of wonderful designs the winning design was a drawstring bag on a pole. Everyone had loads of fun!
