Room 11 Class Agreement

Today room 11 held a special ceremony to sign their class agreement. Creating the class agreement began in week 2, it involved everyone in room 11 sharing their ideas about how they wanted room 11 to look, feel, and sound like. The students created statements that related to the key competencies in the New Zealand Curriculum and reflected their ideas. In groups the students were also responsible for creating a symbol to represent the class agreement statements.

To commentate the occasion each student received a small bag of lollies after signing their name on the agreement. Thank you to all the year 6 students in room 11 who organised the ceremony and an extra thank you must be extended to Kate Mirfin and Narelle Ferrier who very kindly supplied the lollies for the ceremony.
